At Invite Karo, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations of our subscription plans.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Full Refund (Within 7 Days)
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 7 days of purchase
- You have not created more than 3 invitations
- You have not sent invitations to more than 50 guests
- The service did not meet your expectations
2.2 Pro-rated Refund (Technical Issues)
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, we may offer a pro-rated refund based on:
- Duration of the outage or technical issue
- Severity of the impact on your service
- Evidence of attempted resolution with our support team
2.3 No Refund Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be provided if:
- More than 7 days have passed since purchase (except for technical issues)
- You have fully utilized the service features
- Your account was terminated for Terms of Service violations
- You simply changed your mind after extensive use
- Your event has already passed
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings under Dashboard → Settings → Subscription
- Emailing support@invitekaro.com with your account email
3.2 Effect of Cancellation
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- You will retain access to premium features until expiration
- Your invitations will remain accessible as read-only after expiration
- After 90 days, your data may be permanently deleted
4. Refund Process
4.1 How to Request
To request a refund, email us at refunds@invitekaro.com with:
- Your account email address
- Order/Transaction ID from Razorpay
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or details
4.2 Processing Time
- Review: We will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Approval: If approved, refund will be initiated immediately
- Credit: Refunds appear in your account within 5-10 business days
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method
5. Free Plan
Our Free plan has no charges and therefore no refunds. You can use it indefinitely with limited features.
6. Payment Failures
If a payment fails:
- You will receive an email notification
- Your subscription will be paused (not cancelled)
- You have 7 days to update your payment method
- After 7 days, your account will be downgraded to Free plan
7. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be offered at our discretion for:
- Extended service outages beyond our control
- Features that were promised but not delivered
- Exceptional circumstances evaluated case-by-case
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks can result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Loss of all data and invitations
- Ban from future service use
We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and will work with you to find a solution before chargebacks become necessary.
9. Upgrades and Downgrades
9.1 Upgrades
When upgrading to a higher plan, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your billing period.
9.2 Downgrades
When downgrading to a lower plan:
- The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the current period
- You keep premium features until the period ends
